"All that was, or is now, desired is that
error and injustice be excluded from the literature
brought into our homes; that the truth be told, without
omission; truth for its own sake and for the sake of
honest history, and that the generations to come
after us not be left to bear the burden of shame and
dishonor unrighteously laid upon the name of
their noble sires."

MESSAGE FROM THE COMMANDER
NEWS FROM THE FRONT
Date Change for Service
This is a personal invitation to your Camp members to attend the 8th Annual National Confederate Memorial Service that will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, April 4, 2009 at Stone Mountain Memorial Park on the lawn in front of the Carving.
The reason for holding the service so early this year is to keep it from conflicting with the park’s Easter celebrations. Easter comes on the weekend of April 12th and Orthodox Easter comes on the weekend of April 19th.
Please urge all your Camp members to attend. We need a large turnout to show the public we still honor our Confederate Ancestors and we live the “Charge”
Yours truly,
David L. Floyd
